What does “add text to a PDF” mean?
There are two different tasks that are often confused:
Rewrite original text
Change the underlying text object already stored in a PDF. This requires a different editing capability and may affect fonts, layout and document structure.
KAGZI limitation: The current browser editor adds text overlays and annotations; it does not directly rewrite existing PDF text. Do not treat a cover-up or overlay as a true edit of the source text.
Steps to add a text note or highlight
- Open KAGZI PDF Editor and choose a PDF from your device.
- Wait for the page preview and page thumbnails to load.
- Select the Text, Highlight or Annotation tool from the document toolbar.
- Click or place the item on the page as directed by the editor, then enter the note or adjust the available properties.
- Review the placement at normal zoom and on the full page.
- Choose Export PDF and open the downloaded file to verify the result.
Make annotations easy to understand
- Keep notes short and close to the relevant paragraph.
- Use a consistent style for comments, questions and action items.
- Do not cover names, dates, totals, signatures or source text that must remain visible.
- Use highlights sparingly so the important parts remain clear.
- For a formal correction, follow the document owner's approved correction process.
Export checks
After export, inspect every edited page. Check text position, overlap, readability and whether the overlay appears in the downloaded PDF. Keep the original PDF as a separate backup. Complex-script text such as Hindi may depend on the available font support; check the exported file before relying on it.

ध्यान दें: यदि आपको पुराने PDF टेक्स्ट को सचमुच बदलना है, तो overlay पर्याप्त नहीं है। मूल दस्तावेज़ के मालिक से सही editable source या अधिकृत correction प्रक्रिया लें।
Hindi text export करने से पहले font compatibility और अंतिम PDF की readability जरूर जाँचें।

Will my original PDF be changed?
