How to Scan Documents with a Phone and Save as PDF | KAGZI

Turn a paper page into a shareable digital document with a careful phone-camera workflow. This guide explains lighting, framing, multi-page capture and how to bring scanned images into a PDF without assuming that every phone camera produces an official scan.

Feature note: Follow the current controls and privacy notice shown inside the tool. Keep an original copy of important files.

1. Prepare the page and camera

Practical tip: Capture the full page first. Do not crop close to signatures, stamps, page numbers or handwritten notes.

2. Review every captured page

Open each photo and check that small print, dates, names and document numbers can be read at normal zoom. Retake blurred or tilted images. If the paper has multiple pages, capture them in the correct order and give each image a meaningful file name.

What a good scan should show

Complete edges

All page corners and important margins are visible.

Readable text

Letters and numbers are sharp, not smeared by motion.

Natural colour

Text, seals and marks remain distinguishable without extreme filters.
