KAGZI's PDF Studio includes a Compress PDF option that creates an image-based PDF. This may reduce file size for some documents, but the result depends on the original file. Important: text may no longer be selectable or searchable after compression.

KAGZI PDF Studio में PDF Compress विकल्प उपलब्ध है। इससे image-based PDF बनती है। कुछ फाइलों का आकार कम हो सकता है, लेकिन text selectable नहीं भी रह सकता।

Open Compress PDF Tool →Explore PDF Tools

This page explains the current tool. It does not promise a fixed percentage of size reduction or preservation of searchable text.

How to compress a PDF with KAGZI

  1. Open the KAGZI PDF Studio.
  2. Find the Compress PDF card.
  3. Choose the PDF file stored on your device.
  4. When the file is selected, choose Compress and download.
  5. Save the new PDF, then compare its file size and inspect the pages.

Keep the original: Compression creates an image-based PDF. Keep the source file in case you need selectable text, searchable content, links or a higher-quality version.

What does image-based PDF compression mean?

In an image-based PDF, page content is represented as images rather than preserving all original text and vector elements as editable PDF objects. This can change how the document behaves:

Text selection

Text may not be selectable or searchable as normal PDF text.

Visual quality

Small fonts, fine lines and detailed graphics may look different after conversion. Zoom in and inspect important pages.

File size

The output may be smaller or larger depending on the source document and its content. Always compare the actual sizes.

When should you use PDF compression?

Do not rely on this image-based output as a replacement for the original when you need selectable text, embedded links, form fields, accessibility structure, digital signatures or exact archival fidelity.

Check the output before sharing

Privacy and local processing
